Education

Renea is an ’04 graduate of the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine (MWC). MWC is the second oldest Traditional Chinese Medicine  (TCM) in the country, with two campuses: Chicago, Illinois and Racine, Wisconsin. Her degrees include a Bachelor of Nutrition as well as a Masters in Oriental Medicine.  She is nationally certified massage therapist (NCTMB), completing an 800 hour course.

Her education in Oriental Medicine included an externship in 2003  in China at the Guanzhou University in Guanzhou, China. Her Oriental Medicine degree includes acupuncture as well as Chinese herbology.

Renea has recently gained certification in another popular acupuncture modality: cosmetic acupuncture.  The system she practices is known as the Mei Zen (beautiful person) facial rejuvenation system.  The Mei Zen system complements most other anti-aging treatments as an alternative to having a surgical facelift, or to extend the positive effects of the surgery.  Renea carries a special skin care line which is based on Chinese herbal formulas to beautify and improve the appearance of the skin.
